  • Compensation is limited to Councils, Standing Committees, President’s Advisory Committees, and other Governance Bodies as listed on the District Committee website, including officially recognized sub-committees and workgroups of those bodies.
  • Committee seats by position or which have negotiated release time are not eligible for compensation.
  • Activities, planning/agenda building meetings, and retreats are not eligible for compensation.
  • Hiring committee service as either a committee member or monitor is eligible for compensation, up to a maximum of ten (10) hours per committee assignment or twenty (20) hours per Management Team committee assignment.
  • NEW: Compensation for hours served on Shared Governance committees will be limited to a maximum of 20 hours total per semester for either option (pay, flex, or a combination of the two) inclusive of all committee appointments.

  • All flex bank utilization is subject to supervisor approval.
  • Flex bank hours may be utilized for any approved flex activity, additional professional development release time, and/or additional educational leave.
  • Up to twenty (20) hours may be utilized from the flex bank per fiscal year. Unused flex bank hours will expire upon separation from the District with no remuneration.

Shared Governance Committee Instructions:

Hiring Committee Instructions:

  • Choose a numbered HC or M code from the options under the "HC/M Code" dropdown list for each committee.
    • For example, use HC1 or M1 for your first committee, HC2 or M2 for your second, etc...
  • Indicate the name of the position under recruitment and hours served that day. 
  • Click/Tap "Add Another Date" for each date that your committee conveined.
